Boozhoo. I respectfully acknowledge that I live, work, and learn on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishnaabeg nations, within the lands protected by the ‘Dish with One Spoon’ wampum agreement, directly adjacent to Haldimand Treaty territory. This land is currently home to many Ohkwehonwe peoples from across Turtle Island who have stewarded this land for generations. I am grateful to work on this land, and I’m personally committed as an educator to learn more and address inaccurate and inadequate curriculum and create a more inclusive classroom environment which honours the past, present, and future contributions of Indigenous peoples.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

I'm an educator working with newcomers and refugees to Canada in the LINC program. I'm also passionate about turning reconciliation into action in the classroom. This is my journey.
